After Fixing an Iphone 3g (outter screen/Touch Screen + Digitizer) noWhen client presses the power button the?
Now......When client presses the power button the phone goes to a standby state. When client presses the button again, the phone wakes up but the screen no longer responds to touch. do you think its a
#1 software issue?
#2 the touch screen digitizer that i replaced came damaged?
#3 is this a hardware problem?
2 And possibly #3
Can't possibly be a software issue and thats common sense
I think that when you got the new digitizer and replaced it in its place where it needs to be a TWZ Compromised with the F7 wire that caused the first problem of making it go to standby. Now when this happened it also interfered with the digitizer so I suggest:
Call whoever you bought the digitizer to and return it for a new one. Remove wire F7 install to a new iPhone and RESTORE the phone (Important) Then use the F7 Wire in that one and get the other F7 wire in the broken one and replace the digitizer as well.
Putting the F7 wire in the working will let it recognize in iTunes so it can be restored and perfect condition and the other wire is already fine then when you replace the digitizer restore that phone.
