I have an amniotic band that was found in a twenty week scan, will my baby be okey?

I was told there was an amniotic band in the womb with my baby when I had my twenty week scan, my doctor didn't give much detail of how far away it was from her or the severity if it don't disappear after the 28 week stage, im due to go for another scan to monitor this band at 24 weeks. Should I be worried? What are my chances of her being okey?

I think if the band gets too big or doesnt go away, they will probably induce you early to prevent your child from being born with any problems with his/her limbs. so you could be induced maybe a month or two early, which would generally mean your child would be in the nicu for awhile, but plenty of babies nowadays do fine when premature bc of advances in neonatal medical technology. the dr.'s know what they're doing and will make the best decision for you and your baby.
