Where did Eris get the Golden Apple of Discord?

I recall a myth in which Eris gets the apple(s?) - there's a tree with a titan guarding it, someone tricked the titan out of some apples, and he becomes angered. Anyone have more info than that? How about reference to consult?

The Apple of Dis chord is often confused with the Apples of Joy that were planted in the garden of the Hesperides - Hera's orchard. In the west, where either a single tree or a grove of immortality-giving golden apples grew.

The apple of dischord is often confused with the apples of joy that were planted from the fruited branches that Gaia gave to her as a wedding gift when Hera accepted Zeus.

The Hesperides were given the task of tending to the grove, but occasionally plucked from it themselves. Not trusting them, Hera also placed in the garden a never-sleeping, hundred-headed, dragon, named Ladon, as an additional safeguard.

The Apple of Dischord is figurative and represent Strife.

Eris is another name for the Roman Goddess Discordia which is where the reference to dischord comes from.

She was peeved about not being invited to the wedding between Peleus & Thetis.

Eris started an argument between the Godesses Hera, Athens and Aphrodite as to who was the most beautiful or fair. Paris of Troy was the one who had to decide and the goddesses tried to bribe him. He elected Aphrodite after she tempted him with the most beautiful mortal woman - Helen.

This then led to the downfall of Troy.
